"Because the sky's not red, it's blue."
I don't even know what we were talking about ... not anything outside, not the sky, not colors ... but that was Lucas's response. "Because" is the beginning of many of his sentences these days. For example:
Lucas: "Mommy, I want the balloon."
Mommy: "Why did you hit it down the steps?"
Lucas: "Because I want it."
Lucas is also discovering the extensive possibilities of "Why?". He had started asking "Why?" a couple of months ago, but it is now getting to be one of his favorite responses. Inquiring minds want to know. :)
