Translations of Lucas

Lucas has been working on a lot of words. Some are obvious (Woof, Up, Ball), but others need a bit of translation. So, for those needing translations ...

     Word       Translation
Guck        Fork, Stuck or Truck (depending on the situation)
     Gick         Stick
     Eese        Cheese
     Ous         Outside
Dow         Down or Sit Down (if he wants us to sit next to him)
     Igaac       Isaac
     Rarl         Carl
     Alice        Alicia
     Kaygee     Kaylee

Another visit to the Children's Museum

Mommy and Daddy had to run errands in the area, so Lucas got to meet Kaylee (and her Daddy) at the DuPage Children's Museum. Lucas had a good time showing Daddy how much fun it is since he missed it last time. Lucas got to play with the giant Light Bright again, and hung out in the wind and music sections.

Baby2 Update

We got confirmation today that Baby2 is definitely a girl ... the ultrasound technician said there is no doubt. Lucinda (as she is known by the teachers at Lucas's daycare) is right on track for growth and looking good. We were even fortunate enough to get a couple of shots of her face. You can see her mouth and nose in the left picture (it's more obvious if you tilt your head to the right), and the right side of her face in the right picture.

Happy Father's Day

Lucas and Daddy had a fun 2nd Father's Day together.

And here's Lucas, Daddy and Grandpa the last time we visited Cincinnati.

Lucas, Carl & the Toad

We went and hung out at the new Ford House last night ... awesome house! They have a good back yard for Kaylee to play in ... and all the kids (big and small) enjoyed hanging out in it.

Lucas and Carl also got to see (and attempt to play with) their first toad.

Dancing Lucas

Lucas and Daddy thoroughly enjoy dancing to "Fridge Farm" music.

Happy 2nd Birthday Alicia!

Alicia celebrated her birthday yesterday at the DuPage Children's Museum. Lucas enjoyed his cake (as long as there was no ice cream on it). All the kids had a blast exploring the exhibits ... from the giant Light Bright to the wind tunnel to the water area.

This is what it would like like if there was more than one Lucas
... or if he was stuck in a prism.

Great Grandma Pestak

Lucas's Great Grandma Pestak passed away last night.

Unfortunately, Lucas never made it to Cleveland to meet her. We'll just have to make sure he knows all the great stories about her.
