Assembling the Bookself

We put together a second bookshelf for downstairs over the weekend. Lucas loves helping with the tools. Especially trying to use both of daddy's screwdrivers at the same time so daddy can't have one. Oh, and the rubber mallet is fun, too.

Fun at the Park

The kiddies hadn't seen each other (as a group) since January, so we got all of them together over the weekend. Alicia, Lucas, Carl and Kaylee had lots of fun at the park and hanging out at the Bormet house.

Great Grandma Betty

Lucas's Great Grandma Betty passed away this morning. Here is a picture of the first time Lucas got to meet his Great Grandmother.

Lucas used to sleep like this a lot when he was younger. Looks like it's still a comfy position.

Spring has Sprung

Finally, a weekend without snow!

We decided to make the most of it and walked (Lucas, too!) to the park down the street from our house.

Lucas loved climbing up the steps and sliding down the spiral slides!

Introducing "Baby2"

We got to hear Baby2's heartbeat today, and we got to see her (yes, her)! At least, "her" as far as the ultrasound technician could tell. I believe her exact words were "Well, I don't see anything", but she seemed pretty sure. I guess we'll know for sure in a few months ...

The little one was definitely on the move ... we even got her doing some crunches! She'll come out with abs of steel. :)

Lucas Spends the Night with Carl

Since mommy was too sick to take care of him and daddy was out of town, Lucas got to spend the night at his best friend Carl's house. This was Lucas's first evening without mommy or daddy. Lucas and Carl had dinner together and got to play before bedtime. Carl's dad read to the boys until Carl was ready for bed, but Lucas needed a little more time. Carl's mom read to him some more and held him until he fell asleep. Then Lucas slept perfectly until the next morning ... what a trooper!
