Last Days of Pre-K

Looks like we are in need of a Lucas post! Thanks to various vacations, today was the last day Lucas will be with both of his Pre-K teachers. Lucas has learned a lot from both of his teachers over the last year. Ms. Carol and Ms. Katie have been awesome teachers and Lucas will miss them a lot!

Megan's First Dentist Visit

Megan had her first dentist appointment today and she did awesome! No fear at all. She let the dentist count all her teeth (20!) and clean them. She especially liked "Mr. Thirsty" when he sucked all the water out of her mouth. :) Even though she did very well at her appointment, her favorite part was probably the treasure box at the end where she picked out a very pretty pink and white charm bracelet with lots of stars.

Happy 3rd Birthday Megan!

Our beautiful little girl turned 3 today! She got to have her pictures taken, and then celebrate her birthday with Mommy, Daddy, Lucas and some friends. She even got some birthday brownies with candles in them!

Megan's 3rd Birthday Party

This weekend we celebrated Megan's 3rd Birthday! Aunt Barb and Grandma & Grandpa Suttmann even came in from Cincinnati to help celebrate! It was a bit hot & humid out, but Megan had fun with all of her friends anyway! Thanks to all who helped us celebrate!

Moving Up To Preschool!

Megan is transitioning up to preschool this week! She'll miss her teachers, Ms. Stacy and Mr. Jeff, but she's excited to be with the big kids again. She may even run into Lucas on her new playground now. :)

Cincy Visitors

Val, Jason and Josh came to visit for the weekend. They got lots of Chicago-style food, hung out downtown, and even got to see the Lake Zurich Fireworks (yes, I'm sure the fireworks was the highlight :).

Megan had a hard time watching the fireworks ... she really liked the visual aspect and wanted to watch, but didn't like the noise. So instead, she kept sneaking peaks while hiding her face against Mommy and covered her ears hoping for a mute button. I think everyone else enjoyed the show, though.

Stomp Rocket & Some Fun

It's so hard to take care of two babies at the same time ...

Lucas and Megan had a great time with the stomp rocket trying to see how high they could get it to go. It got pretty high!

More Soccer!

Lucas had his last soccer game today followed by a small pizza celebration where each member of his team received their own trophy. Coach Ben informed us that he was impressed with how well Lucas improved over the season ... and he did improve. The first session was rough and it took Lucas 20 minutes to warm up to the coach and his teammates. By the last game, Lucas was awesome! He scored lots of of goals during the season and had a great time! Megan even had fun cheering him and the Bumble Bees on and practicing soccer on the side of the field.
