Happy 2nd Birthday Alicia!

Alicia celebrated her birthday yesterday at the DuPage Children's Museum. Lucas enjoyed his cake (as long as there was no ice cream on it). All the kids had a blast exploring the exhibits ... from the giant Light Bright to the wind tunnel to the water area.

Great Grandma Pestak

Lucas's Great Grandma Pestak passed away last night.

Unfortunately, Lucas never made it to Cleveland to meet her. We'll just have to make sure he knows all the great stories about her.

Busy in Cincinnati

Lucas had a busy weekend in Cincinnati visiting family. He got to hang out with his grandparents Friday night, where Grandma Krollmann gave him a couple of wood chairs that his great grandpa had made (and grandma fixed up and refinished).

Saturday he hung out with his Grandma and Grandpa Suttmann, his cousin Isaac and Daddy while Mommy went to a bridal shower. That evening he hung out with the rest of his family ... Uncle Paul and Aunt Erin, Aunt Stephanie and Uncle Brian and his cousin Nicholas, Great Aunt Barb and his cousin Tom (and Tom's "woof" Frodo).

Sunday morning, we made time for brunch with Grandma Krollmann, Uncle Mike and Uncle Gary before heading back home. Lucas even got to meet his new cousin Jonah before leaving!

Whew! Talk about exhausting!

Last Fling at the Ford's

Over the weekend, Lucas got together with several of his friends and they had a great time. Everyone was celebrating the Last Fling at the Ford House before they move.

It's amazing how much torture Carl can inflict upon Lucas with a feather boa.

A group shot ... not bad considering it was bedtime and they were all still happy. Carl, Alicia, Lucas, Kaylee and Zac had a blast hanging out for the evening.

Kaylee takes it easy as Alicia does all the work.

Happy Mother's Day

Daddy doesn't usually take many pictures, but we convinced him to for Mother's Day. Unfortunately, Lucas wasn't in a photogenic mood ... but we did manage to get one good shot.
